I've been trying to shoot High Dynamic Range portraits of people and dogs for the past few weeks. And it is difficult to shoot an HDR photograph of life because it can't sit still enough to get 3 to 5 exposures. So below is a collection I saw of some very good HDR work. Most of this collection is on Smashing Magazine's site.

Last week I made my first HDR portrait of a person, myself. This week is my wife's "seeing eye bitch Sammy Davis Jr. Jr.", I mean her very nice and well behaved Boston Terrier named Piggy. Remember getting a person to stay perfectly still while I try to shoot 3 to 5 bracketed frames is nearly impossible, and even more so with a pet and I imagine a baby the same.
